LLEAD Camp - Summer Camp 2026

8-10 Years

The LLEAD Camp 2026 is a specially designed two-day residential adventure summer camp organized by the General Thimayya National Academy of Adventure (GETHNAA) under the Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports, Government of Karnataka. The camp is aimed at children between 8 and 10 years of age, providing them with a safe, exciting, and educational outdoor experience.

Adventure Activities

Tent Pitching

Children will learn the basics of setting up and organizing a campsite by pitching their own tents. This activity teaches responsibility, teamwork, and practical outdoor skills while introducing participants to the fundamentals of camping.

Rock Climbing

One of the most exciting attractions of the camp, Rock Climbing introduces children to the fundamentals of climbing on a specially designed climbing wall that simulates real rock climbing techniques. Under the supervision of certified instructors and using internationally approved safety equipment, participants learn movement, balance, route planning, and problem-solving.

Rock climbing is an excellent activity for developing both physical and mental strength while encouraging determination and perseverance.

Rafting

Children experience the thrill of paddling together in inflatable rafts within a controlled water environment. The activity focuses on teamwork, communication, and synchronized paddling techniques.

Kayaking

Participants receive introductory kayaking lessons where they learn basic paddling techniques, balance, steering, and water safety. The activity promotes independence and improves coordination.
